This week a group of Automotive Repair Shop Owners, known collectively as the Independent Automotive Repair Professional 20 Group or IAP20, is visiting Nashville, Tennessee. Members Rod, Tori & Byron Kruse are hosting the group in Nashville where Import Specialty Service, the Kruses' European and import car repair shop, is located. The event lasts three days and includes discussions regarding fixed operations, accounting, marketing, as well as an on-site visit to the hosting repair shop.
Import Specialty Service is a long time member of IAP20 and has set a standard within the group for integrity and comradery. As upstanding members of the Nashville community, the leadership of Import Specialty Service represents two generations of Automotive Excellence.
The 20 Group concept was conceived many years ago within the specialty automotive sales businesses. The concept grew into the automotive repair segment as well as lateral industries. Most 20 Groups are run by specialized training and consulting companies.
The members of IAP20 broke away from the traditional model and created an independently managed 20 Group. This gives them full control to develop and direct the group, as well as restrict membership to the highest quality candidates. Currently, IAP20 retains a moderator, Brett Coker of Coker Consultants. The group also uses financial composite reporting software supported by BusinessActualization.
Many premier auto repair shop companies will be represented in Nashville, including Hubbard Woods Motors of Winnetka, Illinois, Swedish Motors of Marietta, Pennsylvania and Union Line Garage of Hopewell, New Jersey. BusinessActualization will be present outside of the meetings to interact with members and offer support for the composite tools and insight for those businesses interested in inbound marketing.
The IAP20 Group members demonstrate the ideal mix of thought leadership, progressive business practices, integrity and profitability. Not as well known as organizations like the Better Business Bureau, AAA, and BOSCH Service, IAP20 member auto repair shops are held to a much higher standard. If you are an auto repair shop owner or customer, check out the IAP20 member shop closest to you. You won't be disappointed by the outstanding service and professionalism of any of these great independent auto repair shops.
