Why BusinessActualization took Inbound Marketing to Nashville

I was in Nashville for the weekend joining the Independent Automotive Professionals 20 Group for three days of collaboration, comradery and inspiration.  My alignment with 20 Groups, or independent business consulting groups, started almost two decades ago when my family's business joined a Leedom & Associates 20 Group.

creating-real-marketing-assets-400Though we did not attend as a vendor or speaker, IAP20 and many of its members are BusinessActualization clients.  I love to take opportunities like these to surround myself with some of the most influential auto repair business owners and operators in the US, and at the same time, profess my love of everything inbound marketing possesses.

If you've heard me speak about inbound marketing, you know that I'll claim I can align inbound marketing with any type of business.  My experience in the automotive industry allows me to connect inbound to car repair, in a way that will transform an industry.  The IAP20 Group gets inbound marketing and many members are implementing it on the HubSpot platform.

IAP20 Nashville was a crucial meeting for the group and the automotive repair industry.  In Nashville, I introduced the concept of marketing assets as real tangible gains.  These assets should be monitored and valued like all other data the group tracks.

With this data, we will debunk the hype an industry is selling and give auto repair shop owners a clear vision of how to truly be successful at digital marketing.  Inbound marketing is creating these results; not marketing budgets or fancy websites.  It's the same equity IAP20 members have been building for decades- only now it's digital.
