We Are Migrating From Basecamp To Teamwork. It's not for us, it's for you. We started using Basecamp for project management almost two years ago. It was a leap forward for us to collaborate with clients and keep all conversation threads organized. Some clients adopted the platform and we have enjoyed the increase in interaction it has allowed us. But, all good things must come to an end - usually when the next best thing arrives.
We welcome Teamwork Projects to our software stack. All of our Basecamp projects have been imported and we are removing access to Basecamp for clients. Thanks to the awesomeness of Teamwork, all of our Basecamp projects and files have been automagically imported and we have not missed a beat!
Another recent change for the BA Team was a Support Desk for managing support requests from clients. We were losing productivity chasing around every email sent from a client. We became concerned that we could miss a request, or "Drop The Ball" on an important task. Finding a support desk solution is our proactive step. We started with testing Zendesk, and we are currently migrating to Teamwork's Support Desk feature.
All of these changes are easy for us, we love adopting the next best thing. We want to make sure that these changes help our clients get the most from their marketing and their relationship with our Team. More than this, we believe that there is a place for tools like Basecamp, Teamwork and Zendesk in an auto shop. We would love to share with you how we leverage these tools, and how we feel our clients can adopt similar processes.
After all, everything we do is for you our valued client. We feel that a project management tool like Teamwork would help organize the many priorities auto shop owners and managers are juggling. We also feel that a help desk software could be used internally for employee requests and to track how each customer inquiry is being followed up with.
Are you still using a paper to-do list? Or, have you adopted a tool to help you manage the projects that will grow your auto shop?
